Daily life volunteer:

Daily life volunteers are with the children all day long and participate in all of the proposed activities.
They offer support to the children and pay particular attention to each child individually as well as to the group as a whole.

Expected skills:
empathy, having common sense, enthusiasm, patience and creativity.

Activity volunteer:

Activity volunteers set up activities for groups of 8 to 10 children. They lead or help during these activities, and even organise and lead events in the evening for the entire camp. They are always ready to dress up, sing, dance, play, install, and clean up the different rooms.

Expected skills:
dynamism, imagination, open-mindedness, happiness as well as being serious and having sense of responsability.

Medical volunteer (physician or nurse):

Medical volunteers are responsible for the care and treatment of children, under the responsibility of the medical director and the coordinating nurse.
They belong to the organising team and thus actively participate in the activities and to camp life.

  • Be at least 18-year old at the time of the camp,
  • Speak French,
  • Be available for the entire duration of the camp or training.

3. Send the administrative documents to L’ENVOL:

Please add the following documents to your application:

  • Copy of ID justification (ID card or passport),
  • One creative page (optional),
  • Copy of criminal record from less than 3 months (accessible directly here),
  • Copy of your certificate (for medical volunteers)
  • one referee form*: we ask for three referees for every volunteer:
    – 2 referees reachable by phone,
    – 1 written referee.

The referee CANNOT be a friend or a family member. You can ask your colleagues, teachers, managers… If you are a member of an non-profit organisation, a training course, a gym club, etc… you can ask a person who have seen you working, participating and progressing.

NB: only work references are requested for medical volunteering applicants.

All application files will be reviewed and will receive an answer.

NB: we emphasize the fact that sending your application is not a guarantee that you will be registered for one of our sessions.

If your application is accepted, you will be contacted for interview with either a group of other applicants or over the phone. Your application will only be confirmed or rejected after this set of interviews has taken place.

If your application is validated, we will send you a confirmation letter with a questionnaire to complete online as well as a medical form that must be sent back to us. We will finalize your training together.

We are giving these children a bit of strength and recklessness that will hopefully help them during these difficult moments.

I am seeing courageous and lively children that sometimes do even more than children that face less difficulties. They are doing beautiful things and are full of joy and strength. It is a huge life lesson.

It’s great, because we all chose to be a part of this project to bring something to these children. We asked for it and we can definitely feel the impact. At L’ENVOL, everyone is strongly involved. It is touching to see such strong relationships being developed
